Great Paper Airplane Book for Kids

If you’re looking for a good book to teach your kids how to make paper airplanes, I recommend the Kids’ Paper Airplane Book by Ken Blackburn et al.

A book of simple, bright, innovative planes with bold graphics teaches children how to design their own planes, do stunts, and build a 3-D airport with things around the house, along with sixteen models, seventy-six full-color planes, and a colorful pull-out airport poster.

This book is great. Once you have read it to your kids (even better, get them to read it!) and shown them how easy it is to fold paper for a plane, they’re sure to have fun for hours! And you’ll have a ball too, just watching them (or maybe even joining in) :)

The OmniWing Flying Wing Glider

The OmniWings are high performance paper airplane (glider). Constuction is with 8 1/2 x 11 paper, and a little transparent tape and cutting. See the Proto OmniWing, the OmniWing and the Advanced OmniWing. It is a distance champion, having won two consecutive paper airplane contests in the early 1970s. Up until now, I have been very careful in guarding the design and construction details of the OmniWing. Only a couple of trusted friends have ever had access to the design. But the secrecy is over. I do not want to go to my grave without passing on this exquisite design.
